Growing Opera Stars is a concert held at the MTG's Century Theatre.Growing Opera Stars is a concert held at the MTG's Century Theatre in the first week of production rehearsals which provides an additional platform for Project Prima Volta singers to develop their performance skills.
Festival Opera Season artists sing duets and other ensembles with PPV Singers, and some graduate singers are interspersed throughout the programme. The event is significant for our professional artists because it serves as an important reminder to nurture the next generation of young stars. For PPV members, the experience of singing opera with professional singers lifts their game onstage and their thinking offstage. The experience encourages these young singers to think big.
